Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past eleven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Participating is a requirement for our Care To Learn Chapter in order to continue state funding reimbursement. Several MVBT staff members have given to CTL. Several wore their shirts today to encourage others to participate in Giving Tuesday. We didn't get pictures of everyone, but here are a few we were able to capture! If you have not made a donation in the past but now wish to, Giving Tuesday is the perfect time to support our district chapter.

A bus barn warming took place at the new Liberty Eagles bus barn at noon today. The Board of Education, the district and building administrators, and the transportation department gathered to celebrate! We were joined by a couple generous community members who played a huge part in the completion. (These community members prefer to stay out of the spotlight.). We had special support from others during the construction process! MVBT is so grateful for the love and support from our community! Today, we also celebrated the retirement of two special bus drivers, Carol Wright and Shebra Kelts! Congratulations, Carol and Shebra! You will be greatly missed! Thank you for taking great care of our students!
