The MVBT November Teacher of the Month is Mrs. Field! Mrs. Field is an English teacher at LHS. She also leads the Educators Rising program at LHS. Ms. Field was nominated by her peers for this award. Here are a few things her peers say about her:
Mrs. Field is always willing to jump in and help with whatever! She is a great collaborator in the high school English department, and she is always ready to accept new ideas and share her own ideas with her fellow colleagues as well. She is definitely a team player!
Mrs. Field has helped me prepare for my first year in HS! She has been amazing and is always available to answer my questions.
Ms. Field has been diligent in working hard to start a new educational pathway for students interested in becoming an educator. Mrs. Field has picked up teaching dual credit courses for this program. On top of this she has been applying for a grant that would invest money into the FTA program. Education is extremely important, there is a teacher shortage and I am impressed by her approach and passion to help raise up the next generation of educators.
She has worked really hard to get our Ed Rising program going and trying to grow it.
Mrs. Field knows her stuff! She focuses on what students need to know to be successful. She is always eager to lend a helping hand. She is an intricate part of the LHS English Department, LHS in general, and MVBT as a whole! Thank you for all you do!
Congratulations, Mrs. Field! We appreciate you. (Thank you, Taylor Hoover, for donating the awesome basket of goodies to the November Teacher of the Month!)
