At Liberty Middle School, our 7th-grade Social Studies students have been hard at work diving into the rich and diverse cultures. As part of their unit on cultural regions, students researched different cultures, created vibrant and informative posters, and presented their findings to their peers. The project wrapped up with an engaging gallery walk, where students explored each other’s work, asked thoughtful questions, and deepened their understanding of the diverse heritage that shapes our world. We’re so proud of their creativity, collaboration, and commitment to learning—another great example of academic excellence taking flight at Liberty Middle School! 🦅 #TheLMSWay

There are benefits to incorporating literacy into Math class? What??? Ask Stephanie Coen in 6th Grade Math if it can be done. She says yes! She uses real-world scenarios to make problems relatable. She encourages students to identify key information, rephrase the problem, and explain their reasoning in writing. In her class, they learn math-specific vocabulary terms and put them in their own words to strengthen their understanding. They are always engaging in group work and class discussions where students explain and justify their answers, listen to others' reasoning, and refine their ideas through dialogue. These strategies help students deepen their understanding by connecting mathematical concepts with language skills like reading, writing, and critical thinking. Mrs. Coen is on fire for literacy!

Liberty High School students were able to participate in a Guard X event hosted at Summersville High School today. Missouri National Guard provided a variety of stations that introduced students to not only the different career paths the military has to offer, but also fun activities student would engage in during a military career.

🎉 Incredible iReady Reading Success at Liberty Middle School! 🎉 Our students have been hard at work completing iReady reading lessons, and their dedication is paying off! When a student completes 20 lessons, they get to add their name to our 100 chart. We are thrilled to announce that the chart is officially FULL, and an amazing 2,000 reading lessons have been completed! As part of the celebration, we held a random drawing, and Olivia Davis, an 8th grader, was the lucky winner of a $50 Amazon gift card. Huge thanks to Ian and Nathan at Connolly Insurance for sponsoring this prize and supporting our students! We’re excited to keep the momentum going as we start a brand-new 100 chart. Let’s keep up the great work, Eagles! 🦅📚 #The LMSWay
