🦅 Exciting times at Liberty Middle School! 🦅
Students have been actively engaged in *Rigorous Roaming*, where they tackled challenging tasks that boosted their critical thinking. In science, they’re honing their observation and inference skills, turning into budding scientists. Meanwhile, our language arts class is focused on annotation, helping students dive deeper into their reading. Proud of our Liberty Eagles for their hard work and enthusiasm! Keep soaring!

🍴 Cooking Up Life Skills with Mrs. Moore's Class!🍴
This week at LMS, Mrs. Moore’s Life Skills class was busy in the kitchen, whipping up delicious muffins and other tasty treats! 🧁🍞 But it wasn't just about cooking—the students also learned the importance of teamwork, organization, and cleaning up after themselves.
From measuring ingredients to washing dishes, our students are gaining valuable life skills that go beyond the classroom. Great job, everyone! We’re excited to see what they’ll cook up next. 👩🍳🧑🍳
Go Eagles! 🦅

Mountain View-Birch Tree Hosts MSBA Region 15 Meeting!** 📣
Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting the Missouri School Boards Association Region 15 meeting, bringing together several board members from neighboring school districts. The theme for the evening was all about school spirit.
Our Liberty High School cheerleaders kicked off the event with some spirited dances that set the tone for the night. Attendees enjoyed a fun mix of games, dinner, and plenty of opportunities to collaborate and connect with one another.
We’re grateful to everyone who came out and made the event such a success! The MVBT had the most board member attendees, winning $250 towards a scholarship fund!

This is a reminder that school will be in session tomorrow, marking our last Monday of attendance until December 9. During the first two weeks of school, our teachers spend a lot of time setting the stage for a successful year, so it's crucial that your child attends every day.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate student to serve as a Student Representative on the Board of Education! This is a unique chance to be the voice of your peers and contribute to important decisions that shape our school district.
If you are interested in making a difference and representing your fellow students, we encourage you to attend the Board of Education meeting on September 19 at 6:00 at Birch Tree Elementary. More information will be provided at that meeting. After observing the open session meeting, you can decide if you would like to apply for this unique role.
