Several of our Liberty Eagles are heading to the Springfield Cardinals Game tomorrow, and it's going to be an unforgettable day! Not only are we celebrating our students' outstanding MAP and EOC scores, but the Springfield Cardinals are joining us in the celebration. They will be recognizing our students on the big screen. Plus, Mrs. Lanna Tharp will be throwing out the first pitch! ⚾
Join us in lining the streets to cheer on 7 busloads of our amazing students as they head to Springfield! Let's show them how proud we are of their hard work and achievements.. See you there!

What an AMAZING day at Liberty Middle School! 🦅 We started the day off right yesterday with a ROAR as our dedicated teachers (and a few surprise dinosaurs 🦖) greeted parents and students with smiles and treats at drop-off. We learned that Ethan Dodd got 1st place in the Peck Ranch Cross Country meet, and it didn’t stop there—our Liberty Eagles football team soared to victory with a BIG WIN! 🏈 Our cheerleaders and pep club brought their A-game, boosting school spirit and keeping the energy high from start to finish. It’s days like these that remind us just how special our Liberty community is. Proud to be a Liberty Eagle! 💙❤️
Our Liberty Eagles are in good hands! School Resource Officer Travis Wilbanks will be cruising through the district in a newly wrapped SRO vehicle, showcasing our commitment to safety and Eagle pride.
Don't forget Sunday, September 8, 2024, MVBT will be taking students who performed well on state testing to the Springfield Cardinals game. Let's line the streets of Mountain View in support of all of our scholars! The map shows our route. We will leave LMS at 1:00.
Mrs. Renshaw, BTE principal, will be sending out a message for the trip from BTE for her elementary students. Celebrate them leaving BTE at 12:30! BTE students will join MVE, LMS, and LHS at LMS for the trip through Mountain View.

Volleyball opens the season tonight at home with West Plains at 5 PM. JH football opens tonight at home with Ava at 5:30 pm. A good day for Liberty cross country at Peck Ranch yesterday. Enoch Tripp wins a medal, as he placed in the top 15 of the varsity boys race and Ethan Dodd wins the JH boys race. Varsity football will travel to West Platte on Saturday for a 1 pm kickoff. Good luck to all of our student athletes.
Mrs. Moore’s class had a delicious time this week making and enjoying homemade pizza! The students loved getting hands-on in the kitchen and, of course, savoring their tasty creations.
This week, Mrs. Wells’ 8th grade science students had a blast completing an escape room focused on scientific inquiry! They worked together to solve puzzles and challenge one another on independent and dependent variables. A great mix of fun and learning!
Even when faced with a little adversity, our amazing LMS Grillin' Crew—Mr. Johnson, Coach Gastineau, and Mr. Gastineau—didn't miss a beat! When the Blackstone wouldn't cooperate, they swiftly moved the operation to the FACS room and still managed to whip up a delicious breakfast for our hardworking staff. Thank you for your dedication and for making it a fun start to our day!
Liberty Middle School Families: Join us on Thursday, September 12, at 5 o'clock at the Eagles' Nest for a tailgating party! We will have games, hotdog dinner, and of course, football! All middle school students will get free admission into the game.

🔬 Today in 8th Grade Science, our students took a hands-on approach to learning by designing their own controlled experiments! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
They tested whether they could run faster in shoes, socks, or barefoot. Many hypothesized that they'd be quickest barefoot, and after analyzing their data, some found their predictions were spot-on, while others were surprised by the results!

**New Outdoor Space Now Open at Birch Tree Elementary!**
BTE is excited to share that their new outdoor area is now open and ready for students to enjoy! This space will be used for a wide variety of activities. They are looking forward to seeing it become one of their favorite spots at BTE. Stay tuned for more updates as they explore all the ways they can put this fantastic new area to good use!

In science, they’re honing their observation and inference skills, turning into budding scientists. Meanwhile, our language arts class is focused on annotation, helping students dive deeper into their reading. Proud of our Liberty Eagles for their hard work and enthusiasm! Keep soaring!
This year we only have 4 varsity home games and the probability of the 1st round district week 10 game Nov 1. For those who purchased reserved seating at the football field, we are going to roll those over, they will be honored for week 1. After week 1, we will open these seats for purchase. 🍴 Cooking Up Life Skills with Mrs. Moore's Class!🍴
This week at LMS, Mrs. Moore’s Life Skills class was busy in the kitchen, whipping up delicious muffins and other tasty treats! 🧁🍞 But it wasn't just about cooking—the students also learned the importance of teamwork, organization, and cleaning up after themselves.
From measuring ingredients to washing dishes, our students are gaining valuable life skills that go beyond the classroom. Great job, everyone! We’re excited to see what they’ll cook up next. 👩🍳🧑🍳
