A huge thanks to Ozarks Health for providing the school with physicals today. We estimate that we did around 280 physicals today. That will be nice for our coaches and parents to know that so many of those are taken care of. We also thank all of our faculty and coaches who helped with height / weight charts and concussion information.
Don't forget, Summer School starts on Monday, June 3rd! We have weekly pool trips planned in addition to academic & enrichment activities! Follow the link and get enrolled!!

In a multi-county effort to make the intersection at T highway & US 60 more safe, this large group of county commissioners have banded together for the betterment of students, parents, and staff members to start the process of saving lives. Stage one is the addition of flashing signs, warning drivers of the intersection & the eventual plan is to partner with MoDot & put other safety measures into place at the intersection. Thank you to Herman Kelly and all of the county commissioners, mayors of both Mtn. View & Birch Tree, MVBT School Board members, business members, etc. for coming out to recognize this great addition! 🦅
MVBT is proud to announce that we will be hosting a multi sport coaches clinic at LHS on August 8. We have an excellent list of speakers and presenters. Coaches, teachers and administrators are all welcome to attend. South Central Association coaches and staff are free. This clinic will be a hands on clinic, with breakout sessions blended with instruction. The keynote speaker will be Kirk Kelley, current Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball coach and former Lyon college, baseball / football coach, and founder of each program. Coach Kelley is a dynamic speaker and motivator. Our list includes area coaches, Coach Colley, Coach Belcher and multiple HOF inductee Coach Trish Knight.
Reminder, free sports physicals will be offered on Monday May 20th . Big thanks to Ozarks Health Care for providing the physicals. Currently, forms are being sent home, please get those forms filled out and sent back with students so we can get their physical taken care of. Providers will begin in each elementary at 8:15, with the current 5th grade students. When those are finished, the rest of the physicals will be at LHS, beginning with the current 6th grade, and we will move up from there.

For this special #TeacherProudTuesday, we're honoring Coach Annie Roy! Here is what was said about Coach Roy:
"Coach Roy has been an inspiration to so many of her colleagues and students this year. Even in the midst of her own challenges she comes to work with a smile on her face. She expects a lot out of her PE students and has been a wonderful addition to LHS after spending many years in the Special Education department at LMS!"
MVBT is blessed to have Coach Roy!!
Due to the weather forecast, the LHS Graduation will be held in the LHS Gymnasium.
