We encourage all staff, students, and families to attend the upcoming parades and support our amazing MVBT communities.
Birch Tree Parade: Thursday, December 7
Mountain View Parade: Thursday, December 14
Both parades start at 6:00pm!
These events are a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate the season, and show our gratitude for the communities that support us year-round. Let’s fill the streets with Eagle pride!

At Liberty Middle School, our 7th-grade Social Studies students have been hard at work diving into the rich and diverse cultures. As part of their unit on cultural regions, students researched different cultures, created vibrant and informative posters, and presented their findings to their peers.
The project wrapped up with an engaging gallery walk, where students explored each other’s work, asked thoughtful questions, and deepened their understanding of the diverse heritage that shapes our world.
We’re so proud of their creativity, collaboration, and commitment to learning—another great example of academic excellence taking flight at Liberty Middle School! 🦅 #TheLMSWay

There are benefits to incorporating literacy into Math class? What??? Ask Stephanie Coen in 6th Grade Math if it can be done. She says yes! She uses real-world scenarios to make problems relatable. She encourages students to identify key information, rephrase the problem, and explain their reasoning in writing. In her class, they learn math-specific vocabulary terms and put them in their own words to strengthen their understanding. They are always engaging in group work and class discussions where students explain and justify their answers, listen to others' reasoning, and refine their ideas through dialogue. These strategies help students deepen their understanding by connecting mathematical concepts with language skills like reading, writing, and critical thinking. Mrs. Coen is on fire for literacy!

We have had a schedule mess up and Thayer did not have the JH game on their schedule tonight. This is unfortunate and we will figure out what happened.
